I would describe myself as kind and compassionate. In good physical shape, healthy mind/body.  Well travelled with varied interests.  Intellectually curious about the world around me.  Independent and financially secure.  Currently Retired.

I love all animals and that love of animals is the reason I made changes to my diet.  The health aspect is a factor also, but it's secondary to me.  I'm not fully vegan yet, but I am trying to get there.  Animal rights and animal welfare issues are very important to me.  I should mention that I have three dogs, all adopted.  They are faithful friends and companions.  All three are Jack Russell Terriers.

I enjoy music and film.  My tastes in music cover a wide gamut and include jazz, classical, alternative, folk, etc.  In film, I especially like foreign film.  When I watch TV, my first choice is usually PBS.

My exercise of choice is running.  I'm not a fanatic.  No marathons.  Just enough to stay in decent shape.  Also, taking my dogs for daily walks.

I follow geo-political events very closely.  I'm a world news junkie and have a deep interest in current international developments and situations that are political, economic and environmental in their nature.  I would define myself politically as liberal.
