Northern, california vegetarians, vegans and raw foodist events and singles dating

I enjoy simplicity, balance, and hopefully again someday - spontaneity. I also enjoy the arts, outdoor activities, and relaxing watching a good film, listening to music (live or not), meandering into deep discussions, meditating during yoga, playing in the kitchen (plant based foods only) and dozens (if not hundreds) of other both highly active and very relaxing activities. I love to create "useful" art, including educational films, especially for youth, hoping to provide more compassion oriented examples to counter all those violent video games! I'm passionate about preserving our natural environment, with an immense interest in alternative energy, and I'm continually working toward living a smaller footprint life.

My single largest passion is nonhuman rescue/rehab - a lifelong volunteer activity. I'm fiercely protective of the innocent, whether they be human or nonhuman.

Above all - I do NOT believe in harming others, regardless the species or purpose.

I'm fond of children and helping them to learn about their/our world, and the concept of respect for ALL life.

I spend time outside of my daily living routine to help preserve natural environments and help those in need, and would welcome doing so together.

SEEKING:

Like the rest, I'm simply seeking the company of more like-minded individual(s) - plural in the name of friendship only, as I'm a very monogamously minded individual!

I'm seeking like-mindedness in the sense that one values ALL life for its INTRINSIC value, rather than what it can DO for them. Each life is about its OWN value, unto itself. That it exists for its own purposes - to learn about its own value AND the intrinsic value of others - rather than to squeeze the life out of others for self-serving purposes -- OR allow the life to be squeezed out of themselves by others for THEIR self-serving purposes. Instead, work TOGETHER in harmony toward goals which assist the greater good.

I'm not into games, regardless how long or short life is. I'm a very straightforward person and appreciate the same in others. Although, will add appropriateness still holds much value to me. In example, if straightforward to you means discussing highly intimate preferences before an intimate relationship is even mutually considered, much less being established, then no doubt you would consider me far too old fashioned. Otherwise, say hello if you feel so inclined!    It may take me a couple days to get back online, but I will reply.

Of course there's MUCH more to share, but this is a start.

A note of common sense -- I think it's a good idea to see how 2 people gel together before considering anything beyond friendship; hence, my choice of "Activity Partner/Friendship."
