Hi There Thanks for reading my profile. A friend told me about veggie date & I decided to join after reading some of the profiles. There are some really amazing people on here, so I thought I'd jump in & see who I'd meet.

I'm an easy going, fun loving person looking to meet new people. Vegan for about 6 months & am Luvin it. Decided to go veggie first after watching a movie about Buddha. When hearing that he had lived hundreds of lives, some of them as animals, fish & birds, something shifted(?)//changed within my heart & my spirit. I was moved right then not to eat something that had been another living being. To my suprise, I have become much more balanced, compassionate & spiritual as a person since then. I went full vegan about 3 weeks later after watching "Forks over Knives" & haven't looked back! My friends & family respect & support me in this.

Am drawn to many faiths - Christian, Buddhism, Hinduism, New Age spirituality & more. I don't believe I should "Label" who I am as a spiritual person & I also don't judge others according to what they do (or don't!) believe. I simply go where I'm led if that makes sense. If you have any questions about this, please ask.

I'm open to having a serious relationship. Race is not an issue at all as I have friends from many different cultures. Please dont be shy!

I like taking care of my health, reading & focusing on spiritual and personal growth, staying fit (weights, jogging, ride bikes, martial arts, Luv Yoga, going for walks, etc), meditate (everyday!), big movie buff & realy enjoy good conversations w/ friends & family or just hanging out & being goofy together - who doesnt like to laugh, right? Also - Love to dance, so it's a Big plus if you like to dance as well ;) Play guitar & drums and sing a little (very little! - lol). I dont' currently have any pets but love animals & get my fix by helping a friend who does dog rescue.

I've been a Step Father to a couple of great kids. I'm open one way or the other @ this point.

I have a lot of energy and enjoy being out. I do a lot of hiking and camping but not so much lately because I recently moved here to Tempe. I've been vegan for a few years and vegetarian for years before that. I love to eat and discover new restaurants(new for me at least). I have a pretty small family and group of friends that I cherish but I moved away so I need to find some new like minded people with whom to share my time.

I admit it this is short, lets call it a work in progress. It's quite challenging to summarize myself but I'm sure that's pretty common.

I like to be as active as possible and try to experience everything Arizona has to offer. At least until the weather gets too hot anyway. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, the occasional round of golf, etc.

I play organized ice hockey and love the exercise and competition it provides. Believe it or not there is hockey in the desert. If I’m not playing a sport I don’t mind attending/watching games. Teams I follow: Sun Devils, D-backs, Coyotes, Cardinals, NY Giants, NY Rangers.

But I also appreciate the arts and won’t hesitate at an opportunity to experience concerts (no country), theater, symphonies, ballets, movies etc. I love learning about and experiencing new things. That last line is really cliché, but it’s true.

I’m not the most outgoing person but I really open up when I am comfortable. As a result I have a hard time finding people who share my similar philosophies/interests. If you are interested in some of the same things or you’re curious to learn more send me a message.

Hi. I'm a high school history/science teacher. I have two teen daughters who I have raised alone since they were toddlers. I'm into learning, reading, yoga, meditation/buddhism, politics/current events, tv/movies and talking/laughing. I have a hyper-active sense of humor and love to joke around and laugh, and make others laugh. But you kinda need to get to know me before you see that part of my personality. I'm veggie, almost vegan. Very laid back and easy to get along with. No rage or drama issues here. I do have considerable tattoos. Just fyi. My music tastes are diverse. I was vegan for a year and a half, but due to certain health problems, I had to stop. I try my hardest to still eat vegan as much as possible. I don't do drugs, drink, or smoke. Taking care of myself is important, from eating healthy to staying active. Even though I like to stay active I am not a work-out militant and am just as happy to stay home watching a good movie. In my spare time I like to work on my house and motorcycle, and play the drums. I enjoy my day job as an engineer/designer because it is rewarding on many levels, it allows me to be creative and I love to design mechanical objects. I am mostly content being alone, but I miss the companionship that comes with dating/going out. May all of you find what you seek.

I have been vegan/vegetarian for the last 10 years, I have tried raw foods and I am a certified raw food chef but mostly just eat vegan. I love to travel and meet new people. I am a bit of a computer nerd, working toward my bachelors in networking and communications currently. I like to write in my free time, which at the moment is not very often, and I can pass a whole evening stuck in a good book. I don't watch TV but I do enjoy a couple shows such as the daily show amongst a few others. I love to get out and protest on behalf of animals who cant speak out for themselves. I am always down for a night on the town although currently with work and school that time is a bit limited but I can always find some time for fun.

I've been working for over five years now as flight attendant which is certainly a lot of fun with great benefits but have recently moved to Tempe to pursue a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. I certainly miss green, tropical environments but hope to still travel while following this path into natural health which I'm very passionate about. I have my private pilot license but will most likely put flying on hold until I'm out of school. I try to live and work instead of work then live but still plan for the future and hope to one day have a family. I enjoy nature, working out, photography, painting, snow skiing, yoga, the ocean, flying and scuba diving. I believe travel is one of the best forms of education. I've been around the world on photography expeditions and can't wait to see more one day. I also love visiting family and friends back in New England. Although my family isn't, I prefer to be vegetarian/vegan for health, environmental and animal rights reasons.

The basics: I am a compassionate, philosophical, fun-loving teacher :) I have been a strict vegetarian (recently vegan) for 5 years. I teach 2nd grade in Phoenix and have 27 lovely creatures. I have 4 rescue furry children and love them dearly.

Random information about myself: I love anything exciting and outdoorsy. BUT after a long teaching week, sometimes I just laze around and net-flix it out. :)) I love all types of music. Except country. I love all types of movies, HATE zombies, but seem to still watch Walking Dead. I LOVE cooking and trying new vegan meals to coax my friends into eating meatless more often. Yoga is an escape for me. I am a teacher and a forever learner and love to learn new things. I am innately attracted to intelligence and compassion. I am also one of those people who cringe when the wrong form of their/there/they're or your/youre is used (it may be the teacher in me). I am a Seattle Seahawks fan- and most likely know a lot more about football than most guys.
