Life is what you make of it, and I strive to make mine an experience worth remembering, for me and those I choose to spend time with. My theory is that optimism is contagious for those willing to catch it. By day I help make technology work for medical professionals. I'm also improving myself by continuing my education in new creative and expressive ways. On my personal time, the possibilities are endless. When the weather is right, I'm often exploring a new trail, by foot or bike; I get a charge from the fresh air filling my lungs, the scent of the pine trees as the wind whistles through their branches, and the beauty of nature all around me. And when the sun goes down, it's hard to top sitting by a warm campfire with friends, enjoying some light, or even not so light, conversation. But if I'm not getting away from it all, I want to be right in the middle of it listening to live music, going to cultural or arts festivals, finding new ethnic (and vegan) food or going to a museum.
