I am a really sweet guy who didn't choose to start over. I've never betrayed, battered, or belittled a woman. I miss the sharing and caring of being in love. I have lots of passions: animal rights, birding (including internationally), playing Irish music, listening to rock and Irish music, reading, my two dogs, and stargazing from my jacuzzi or while camping out of town. My income is modest, but my home is paid off. I taught elementary school for many years and am now tutoring. I've been veggie for almost 30 years now and almost vegan for 18 years, and am healthy for being 56. I brew and drink beer but in moderation. I have been more or less the political leader of the animal rights movement in AZ, having organized several campaigns, including those that ended cockfighting, took on the abuse at the dog track, and closed two stores for buying dogs from puppy mills. I do ab crunches thrice weekly and push-ups twice. I swim laps or take power walks twice a week. All in all, for the right person I am a great catch!

Adventuresome, active, fit, outdoorsy. Life is time spent outdoors. The rest is waiting. I have a successful and driven career, work hard, and play hard. Strive to be gone out of town, and outside of cell phone range every weekend. Backpacking is my favourite, but I do mountaineering, canyoneering, caving, hiking, hot springing, climbing and have gone canoeing, kayaking, rafting, diving... I can have fun in town as well though, movies, dancing, partying, a drink with friends. I am a 'Yes' man, always open to try out things. The only thing I'm hard to convince is watching TV, sports and commercials are the worst. I love to travel and explore, just keep me out of those 5 * resorts. Have been to 50 countries, lived in 6. Hi! I'm currently splitting time between Phoenix and Tucson. This is both good and bad. Good since I get the best of both worlds. More social events in Phoenix, much easier to relax and enjoy the outdoors in Tucson. Its bad since its difficult to really connect with anyone or groups of people in either community. In Tucson I live downtown. In the Phoenix valley I'm in Tempe north of the river. I enjoy most things in moderation, and I tend not to take myself all that seriously. I visited family in Jamaica this summer, which was great; and have done a ton of three day weekend trips this summer to visit friends in various states in various States. :) I've been vegan for about five years now. My whole way of life is about being out... studying or working on a project in a cafe or on the bus. I just like to be out there were the people are. I'm a vegetarian (sometimes pescatarian) who loves Saraswati, and of course knowledge seeking, music, arts, philosophy, and studying languages. I have studied dance, and am passionate about it. I ride a bike everywhere. I have a small dog, who is an amazing blessing of pure love. I love cooking and sharing food with friends. My life long dream is to visit India not as a traditional tourist but to do sadhana. I'd like to find someone who follows a similar path of knowledge seeking, in practice as well as in learning. We all live in the world, the great ocean, and I greatly enjoy my graduate studies, my dancing, my singing, my cooking, and everything that I share with friends. I am a vegetarian for over 20 years, I do have a desire to eat fish and maybe one day that will change. I have struggled for years to stop eating dairy products such as cheese, egg whites, yoguart, and cottage cheese. About a month ago, I decided to cut the strings, I have not had any cheese, eggs, yoguart or cottage cheese since than and I am so glad I was finally able to omit these out of my diet. I like the outdoors and will go on short hikes whenever possible. I have added more workouts into my schedule lately and have made it a priority to make this a lifestyle. I enjoy going to see a good movie and dinner at least once a month and I love live music and dancing. I am thankful that I am saved and know Jesus Christ. I would love to connect with an individual who enjoys life and likes to have good conversation, travel whenever possible, loves dogs and cats. My friends say I am funny and a good cook. I love children and one day I look forward to becoming a grandmother.
