I'm a happy person, who is easy to get along with. My academic background is in post-structural philosophy - no surprise, I tend to the political left - and my technical background is in photography. I enjoy writing, hiking, camping, jazz, poetry, art galleries and museums... and lots of other things (of course). I started learning taijiquan (Yang Family, long and short forms) in 1983, and basic Taoist meditation in 1989; I still enjoy practicing both.
