I consider myself a spiritual person in that I try to live according to things I've studied and learned from studying and life experiences. I have been moving towards being a vegan, more and more raw foods, smoothies, salads, fruits everyday, but I'm still eating some vegetarian foods, sometimes, mostly eggs. I keep working at it. Would be fun to live this lifestyle with a friend or relationship. I live a simple lifestyle in my home in Albuquerque but definitely love to travel both in US and International. I am a Dietitian and am fairly health oriented. I used to play soccer, have done triathlons, and enjoy doing most anything outdoors (as long as it's not cold). For many years I fancied myself a grass roots world traveler and really derived an immense amount of pleasure from expanding my own boundaries in foreign lands. Among many other adventures, I've traveled across the Sahara on a camel, through the jungles of Cambodia on an elephant, and I lived in India for a few years while studying Ayurvedic medicine at a small hospital along the coast of the Arabian Sea. Now though, I embrace a fair amount of stillness, as the boundaries I prefer to surrender tend to lie within my own inner landscapes. I prefer connection rather than control and source my life from pleasure and presence. I practice fulfillment based thinking, which means that I rise to the occasion of what life has to offer me, and I do it in a way that nourishes and enlivens me. I prefer to be the queen of my own sovereignty and consciously design my reality in a way that enlarges my pleasure. I follow my dreams and take risks boldly. I love my camera, nature, and Organic food. I'd probably be an animal rights activist if I loved being angry, but I don't...so I volunteer at no-kill shelters instead. I'm slowly learning to skateboard. I can ride up a ramp and ride back down fakie, I can do a taildrop into a 5' miniramp, and usually pump the 2nd transition well enough to make it up the other side. i can do backside kickturns, and pump transitions in both directions on a mini-ramp. It's not much, but it's a huge improvement over where i was a few months ago.

Hope springs eternal. Being a vegetarian is central to my life and find that other vegetarians share the same important tentents of a spiritual life and loving life. A contradiction in terms from growing up globally to schooling in Texas, it is time to begin a new chapter of life. Friends describe me as a good listener, caring, honest, friendly, intelligent, easy to be around and wonder how I could still be single. Guess it is that whole vegetarian,spiritual and non-mainstream factor that narrows the choices down 99.999 % or so.
