I am very active. I play hockey, teach Tai Chi and qigong, swim competitively, and play violin. I like gardening and dehydrating food. I am not one who seeks attention but it is something that seems to follow one as active as I am. I sing in a band and like karaoke. I work out of my home, I am debt free. I like to read and enjoy socializing at barnes and noble. I am also an iridologist and live a very healthy lifestyle. I coach/teach breathing techniques and healthy eating, informally for the most part. I have been active my whole life. I weigh the same as I did when I graduated highschool. So much to do, so little time. I need a mate, best friend, lover, and playmate. I am part of a graden co-op and love eating that healthy food from my own garden.

Vegan since 2001, 6'1", former pro cyclist, al-America track athlete, speed skater, but I'm also an artist (BFA) that loves to relax and read.  I spend much of my free time cooking and keeping my perfect Ida happy (she has huge 19.5cm hound ears)

I love to read!

My top five books:

1. Cat's Cradle (Vonnegut)

2. Women Who Run with the Wolves (Pinkola Estes)

3. Flight (Alexie)

4. The Alchemist (Coelho)

5. Born to Run (McDougall)

I also love to run and trail run. I have been solo Backpacking several times this quarantine season. I am preparing for a two week hiking and camping trip in Colorado next month. I grew up in Maryland but have really enjoyed the last five years of getting to know the American West.

I am a student and it is one of the best parts of my day. I am also teaching myself Calculus. I love to craft, write, and prep food. I love to learn.

For work I am a caregiver for my grandmother with dementia. I live with her five days a week. It is relaxed and leaves me plenty of room to do my hobbies and continue my personal goals. I am looking to go back to University in the Spring or next Fall for Philosophy, English, and Physics.

My greatest strength is connecting with people. It is rare for me to find a personality I don't enjoy and have curiosities about. While I enjoy my alone time in nature immensely, I am also a very social person with a lot of extravert needs. My closest friends are almost all over 35 and it's hard for me to picture dating someone close to my age, but I am open to it.

My greatest weakness is probably that I am unrganized and can be pretty cluttery. My table is usually covered in books and art supplies. My car always contains at least three days worth of clothes and half of my camping supplies. It is something I would like to work on without getting too distracted from my passion projects and outdoorsy lifestyle.

It'a great to find this site because It can be difficult to find like-minded people. I have always been health conscious but didn't become a vegan until I met someone who practiced Chinese medicine. He taught me lifestyle is key to whether you will be healthy or plagued with disease. It has helped me understand spiritual things better too and a better respect for all life. I'm no longer biased about religion but encourage more of a unity consciousness. I think we put too many labels on things and think it's the truth. If we can go within ourselves instead of externalizing everything, that's where truth lies. I think that's the true message behind Christianity. I do like how religion teaches moral values. Also, I like to keep physically active, enjoy the outdoors and learning the truth about world events. I have a serious side but have an appreciation for good humor too. It's important to find the right balance in all things.
