Hi, if you like me please write.
I love living in the City but visiting the Country. I have 4 1/2 cats. Don't forget to ask me about the 1/2.
I love rock and 80's new-wave music & B'way musicals. I'm a vegan who believes in animal rights. I like new foods & sometimes cooking. Even my meat eater friends love my cheesecake and cupcakes that I make for my parties which are necessary so my cats can regularly socialize.
I like traveling & have friends in San Diego so I've been there alot. La Jolla was great where I almost got to kiss the wild seals - till I saw the seal watchers suspiciously watching me.
I like movies, especially horror, sci/fi, or drama. No girly love stories, but if you're so woosy that you like them, I can suffer occasionally. If you'll try horror, I'll consider holding your hand.
I love the water and want to water-ski but have yet to figure how to stay standing. It's weird since I snow ski well. Also I can't get the breathing right to scuba-dive but really want to. Perhaps you can show me? If you're not a good teacher I can always dunk you.
I'm outgoing, dress comfortably, and have a few businesses. I'm not religious but have strong morals.
Although I'm vegan, I'm not overly into health food, life is short and if we get hit by a bus I wanna die knowing we had chocolate.
CAN YOU PASS THE 3 PART TEST? CAN YOU AT LEAST PASS 2 OF THE PARTS?
This is NOT a trick test question. Just answer as asked.
Part 1 - You're in a boat with your animal & a stranger & it's sinking. The animal & stranger are dying & you can only save 1 & the other will die. Who do you choose?
Answer: the stranger-I don't know how great a match we are as you killed your baby to save a stranger. P.S. Hope you don't ever find yourself in a boat with me. - move on to Part 2 if you dare.
Answer: your animal :)- move on to Part 2.
Part 2 - You're in a boat with your animal & a friend & it's sinking. The animal & friend are dying & you can only save 1 & the other will die. Who do you choose?
Answer: the friend-I still don't know how great a match we are as you killed your baby to save a friend-it's not as bad as answering the human in part 1 since at least here you saved a friend, but hey it's only a friend-so you should still hope you don't ever find yourself in a boat with me - move on to Part 3 if you dare.
Answer: your animal :) - move on to Part 3.
Part 3 - You're in a boat with a strange animal & a friend & it's sinking. The animal & friend are dying and you can only save one & the other will die. Who do you choose?
Answer: the friend-hmmm. Here you killed a strange animal for your friend-I'm not overly thrilled, but we should talk.
Answer: the animal - :) :) :) :) :) - We're REALLY gonna get along.

I’m trying to find that elusive combination of a best friend and enduring romantic partner. I’m a reliable, thoughtful girl. I’m a bit quiet but otherwise approachable, friendly, funny and is a good company. I would think I am a mellow person, with an inquisitive mind, but firm in my beliefs and what I stand committed to. Sometimes I am a little nutty witty :) I am a kid too when I spend time with my neice and nephew, I love to make them laugh. My friends, family are most important to me. When time permits, I like to explore New York city, even better if I can walk and talk to catch up with friends. Am outgoing so I like to visit places I have not been to, and if I haven't been there, I like to hear about friends trips and their adventures and fun times. Dining with close friends, family is always a precious experience. Reading books, sharing thoughts and being around positive people and supporting each other for being.

It's so easy to sound egotistical here if you just say the good things about yourself, but I'm not going to say ugly, stupid, psychotic traits etc. Sooo... clever, funny, well-travelled, compassionate, artistic, experimental woman. If you laugh at Spinal Tap, Zoolander and Fawlty Towers then we will surely connect in some way.
In no particular order, I am keen on: music, art, wit, kindness, laughing, animals, craftsmanship, nature, traveling, sunshine, photography, Eastern philosophy, veggie food, swimming, hiking, the comedy channel, bio channel, history channel, bird watching and the usual great stuff! Though that's all true, a list of interests is obviously limited in what it can express because the most valuable perceptions require human contact.
I am curious about the world and love learning new things each day. Perhaps it is because I am an artist and professional photographer that I love to look at things from different angles and perspectives to find beauty in most anything. Being a creative person I create uncluttered peaceful homes and believe bringing nature into the residence. I volunteer at Bird Rehab centers and Sanctuaries and am involved in the welfare and conservation of waterfowl.
Other favorite subjects: history, architecture, science and math. I shy away from chaos, pollution, multi tasking and messes on any scale. My home, finances, career/hobbies and body fitness are in shape; I seek someone who has similar circumstances and goals and am attracted to people who have a positive outlook on life; one whose career or passion requires creativity and independence.
Being a vegetarian who practices a zen-ish organic lifestyle: my creative work is often activistic: I worked with Green Peace, created award winning posters, was the recipient of the Rachel Carson award and my work is in the Smithsonian Institute.
A nice evening with me would be having a light meal and then settling in for an evening of watching National Geographic Channel (bio or comedy channel or a documentary). I prefer the outdoors and enjoy camping, swimming, hiking, tennis and I may be able to be talked into golf again!
Let’s just say it, chemistry is integral; the qualities that I desire most is kindness, tenderness and compassion. A person who brings out my humor and also can make me laugh out loud, or smile to myself after we have closed a conversation. Professions which I gravitate to: The arts, professors, scientists, writers, researchers, homeopathy, doctors, vets, animal care takers, naturalists, environmentalists, animal/ bird rehabilitators, inventors, philanthropists, comedians, jack of all trades.
That said, if you find yourself similar feel free to reach out, as it is certain we would have a good rapport, and perhaps more.
