I am a person who does not make connections often with people who are my type. I guess this site is a good gateway because people who primarily have a plant based diet, probably have above average passion for self health, and other common interests with me. I am consistently physically active, into yoga, love the Wii, love creating and observing comedy of all types, have a passion for creativity of all types, and am passionate about the raw food diet. I have been juicing veggies and fruit a lot lately and grow my own wheatgrass.

Seeking:

I am pretty flexible with whom I meet because I am open minded when it comes to others, and I adapt. I tend to connect more with people who are child-free. One kid would not necessarily be a deal breaker though. I like a woman who is physically fit and likes to live a simplified and streamlined life just like myself. I tend to connect well with a woman on the vegetarian/vegan spectrum.

I think I'm a study in contrasts (although I prefer to call this 'balance'  ;). I'm intelligent, but certainly have had my share of stupid moments. I'm artsy and feel things deeply, but I'm viciously tempered by reason. I forgive easily, but definitely expect responsibility from myself and others. I strive to find this balance in my life and I feel like I've made wonderful strides in this direction. Nonetheless, I'm the first to acknowledge how far I have to go. My compassion for our world, acceptance of others, and unfaltering optimism are my greatest allies.

I work as a psychotherapist in private practice. My spare time is spent practicing/teaching yoga, playing guitar, singing, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my dog and cat. I can adapt easily to a serious topic or be silly as heck (see 'contrasts' thing above). Similarly, I love being outdoors or just spending time inside watching a movie. I'm super easy-going, and you'll have to work pretty darn hard to get me to freak out (not that that's a challenge or anything!).

Seeking:

I've been vegan since the early 90's and it's (obviously) become a way of life for me. I live in a rural and not terribly progressive NH town that I find lacking in 'vegan-ness'. I'm currently separated and I'm not ready for any serious commitment or anything physical. I would, however, love to get to know some new people with similar interests, spend some time together, and cultivate some meaningful connections. I'd really like to be around someone who's playful, but also capable of being serious. Having someone to sing with is a definite plus!

Seeking: I would like to find someone who is attractive and warm hearted with a gentle personality and good character with whom I can share this lifes journey on all levels.

Ahhh....ok then, I am a mindful person that lives life with fullness and gratitude for what comes my way. I teach high school full-time and play music professionally part-time. I want it to be the other way around, therefor I'm working on my first CD at 48 years old (go figure). I don't have a desire for fortune and fame, but I would like to share my music more and more. I feel younger than my age, so I believe that anything is possible. I truly feel that self-doubt is what keeps most people from experiencing life to the fullest. 

I am fortunate to have awesome friends in my life and believe that it is not by mistake. As I have grown on my path of self discovery, I have learned that you get what you give. I mean that sincerely and not in any kind of self-serving kind of way.

For all my talents and  poetry I am not much for pinning down my fun dynamic soulful self with a few characterization. I live by an environmental ethic and yogic principles. Where indulging in life exists harmoniously with respecting it. Generous. Hope this gives you something to go by.

Healthy (heart, body and soul), attractive, vegetarian, politically to the left, environmentally conscious. Self-confident. Joyful. Passion. Poise. Active. As I am reluctant to nail myself down with characterization I remain open to what arises in meeting someone. I have really good judgment and will know it when I find it.

Seeking: The standards - Someone I can talk to, who I can snuggle with, wander with, and enjoy life with. And who knows not to end sentences with a preposition. I like my life. I'm a vegetarian, moving forward towards raw/vegan.  It's been three weeks and I like it.  At my age I'm trying to be the best I can be and stay healthy doing it.  I always believed in food being your medicine.  I'm a low key person looking for someone to hang out with doing thing like exploring whatever we want to explore.  I've been told that I'm a funny, strong,compassiate person willing to help if I can.  Hopefully, I will find love, that love you can grow old with.
