I am vegan for ethical reasons. Animal rights are very important to me. I love good, intelligent conversation, laughing, reading (e.g. Dostoyevsky, Zola, David Sedaris), good food, my cat, sunshine, movies (e.g. Being John Malkovich, The Celebration, I've Loved you So Long), travelling (e.g. Spain, Central America). I am starting to focus more on what I can do for the world than what the world can do for me. I am concerned about the planet, horrified by the conditions in which farmed animals live and die.
