My description:
The most essential qualities I’d like a partner to share with me are a love for time in nature; a dedication to health and fitness; a dedication to personal and spiritual growth; the enjoyment of deep and meaningful conversations about life, existence, and the state of our world and future; a love of fun, play and humor (we gotta have some lightness after those deep conversations! ;) ; and a love of adventure and exploring this wonderful world and all of the amazing creatures and features within it. Bonuses are an interest in supporting and empowering oppressed human and non-human beings, and a love of music and dance. Compassion for all beings is important to me, which is why I'm vegan. It's important to be with a partner who is either veg*n or who who would consider taking steps in that direction - I'm happy to help :) I work as a psychologist, but not one of those stuffy white-coated kind with a clipboard and a diagnosis sheet. I'm a holistic (mind, body, nature, spirit) therapist and I'm all about seeing the goodness and wholeness in everyone, and inspiring those qualities to shine. I specialize in supporting people resolve their trauma (you know, my compassion thing) and live their life to the fullest. I also teach at a university counselling program part-time. I don't have any kids, but am fine with a partner who has some. Same with companion animals - I don't have any but definitely enjoy the company of furry companions.
