Hi. I'm a quarky, funny person who is blessed with a close family, fantastic friends and 2 beautiful cats. I'm not someone who "needs" to be with someone all the time; I'm a very independent and strong woman; not quite what you'd call a "girly girl".
I've always been an animal lover, and have given up eating meat about 10 years ago. I'm so happy with this decision. I've recently stopped eating fish as well (to me, it's meat...they are animals too). I'm looking for non-cruelty choices for dairy and eggs.
I have zero tolerance for animal cruelty and believe there should be much larger consequences when an animal is abused. Someday I would like to work with animals on a full time basis. I do have some physical limitations which prevent me from volunteering more at local shelters, etc. But hey.....if I win the lottery some day, I'm opening an animal sanctuary!
