I'm about to have completed my 59th trip around the sun and thinking it's time to find a healthy relationship and/or friendship. I don't feel old, and most people are surprised when they learn I am pushing 60. There is nothing we can do about it, so those who judge by a persons age probably shouldn't respond. I'm on a finance team at a nonprofit by day, and dabble as a musician by night. I was not raised vegetarian or vegan, but have a mother that was always experimenting with different diets and food choices. For example we went through a macrobiotic eating phase, which as a young child I didn't really care for, but I appreciate the knowledge I have about it. Around age 21 I became vegetarian after reading Diet for a New America. I was never a heavy meat eater, but I will admit that in my 30's and 40's I sometimes ate chicken or fish, sometimes a burger. For the last 12 years or so I have been vegetarian, leaning towards vegan. I say leaning towards, because I choose vegan more and more. But I don't always check all ingredients and probably eat butter, but don't freak out about it. I like to cook but I don't like to cook alone. It would be great to have someone to experiment with, learn about mushrooms, try different vegan recipies together, and have fun doing it. I've become less active the last few years and want to change that. Easing into a hike or bike ride would be great, or just a walk around greenlake. Learning from each other and supporting each other is key. I have a cat, no kids, and own my own home.

I'm a longtime vegetarian for many decades who's transitioning to vegan. Expressive, smart, unique, talkative yet introspective, always curious, direct, sensitive, determined, unpretentious, strong-willed, urban, sensible, and a grounded realistic person. A good sense of humor and/or basic wit is important because life really requires it.

A true Chicagoan, both born and home-grown with deep tap roots. Gardening is in my blood and it's a great outlet for myself on many levels.

I'm moderately active, and try remain true to myself. Trying to age naturally and gracefully in mind, body, and soul. I’d rather listen to a podcast or an audible book than watch any sports game, seriously speaking. I’m somewhat outwardly progressive, yet my core beliefs are much more conventional than I am willing to admit. Naturally prone to being more introverted yet pretty talkative sometimes.

I enjoy more thought-provoking, cerebral films and lean towards alternative and mostly dance-type music. Environmentally interested in eco/green technology, horticulture, and landscaping, so I do actively recycle, compost, mulch, and plant mostly native varieties. I enjoy ongoing home-improvement restoration projects.

Truthfully, I have never smoked nor did drugs - ever. An occasional glass of wine with dinner only. Nothing extreme here from no crazy colored hair, zero tattoos or body piercings except standard earrings. Lastly a spiritual foundation is important with universal belief in a higher power does matter to me.

i am vegan for the animals , because of the horrible abuse in the industrial agriculture and would never date someone who isn't VEGAN.

i meditate daily for consciousness, believe in reincarnation, engage in regressions and hypnosis for uncovering and healing the subconsious. i can only be together with someone who practices self-discovery, healing and seeks a higher consciousnes in life.

i have no use for religion or dogma. a healthy life style, health-food and a drug-free ecological household are important to me and i want to live together with a lady who supports that and doesn't bring sugar, coffee, alcohol or microwave food into the home.

i used to be a green-party, liberal voter for animals' rights and the environment, but with everything that has happened since 2019 in our "collective liberal west" i turned right-wing conservative. no islamization of europe for me, no hatred against israel, no feminism, queer propaganda and transgender nonsense. i'm done with victimhood mentality and bending over backwards for a woke, anti-white, anti-male, anti-christian political agenda by the far left, that is based on guilt-complexes and victimhood narratives, because of europe's history involving dictators and colonization of foreign territories hundreds of years ago.

Cycling, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, and sailing are my favorite outdoor activities. No, I do not own a boat. My regular bike ride is 26 miles, and my last hike was about 7 miles.

I began dancing about two years ago. I am primarily studying Salsa and Rueda de Casino, which is similar to square dancing but performed in a circle, where partners constantly change based on Spanish calls. It's a blast!

I like to sing and dance. Yes, singing and dancing is quite important to me as well. It always gives me my most healing and nourishing soulful experience.

I love traveling, and exploring thrilling adventures across our dear planet EARTH. I’m quite capable of opening up the door of true freedom to an unlimited cultural experience which will define the human spirit, values and the unity of our human race!

I like being creative. I love music and movies of all types and genres, so long the message is there for life improvements. I think these two entertainment elements represent the bigger side of me. I can be...a bit of an old fashioned type, but never a let down by the current standards of lifestyle. I’m very honest and straight up, and at the same time...I'll be super-neutral about what I say and do when things go right or wrong.
