9 Fire Libra Dog woman. Though I’m a fine person with lots of good qualities, a viable man/woman relationship has eluded me. These times seem to emphasize differences, separation, etc., maybe my life reflects the times, maybe it’s my own karma. I do study and seek understanding.

I’m very low income, able to take care of myself and have paid off this foreclosure house in beautiful Haines, Alaska. Though my own food practice is more one of macro-snacking, rather than a truer macrobiotic diet, and though I don't have the interest in sex that I had previously, I still believe that sharing food and sex is absolutely essential for a couple. I would like to deeply explore those 2 areas with a man. I do still cook of course and it would be wonderful to share that with another.

With a man, I want to explore both the simple pleasures and the deep healing available through food and sex, so-o-o much is available right there. I cannot claim to have zero baggage, I can say that I’m totally willing to look deeper. I would love to be able to really talk to someone. I cannot promise the most exciting life to one who is strongly, socially focused on changing the world, but to one who wants to effect changes from the inside and then take those changes outside, I believe I have something to offer. Additionally, I do participate in my small town in a number of ways, like writing letters to the editor, etc.

I'm serious about playing with astrology to help determine compatibility: Chinese for depth compatibility, Western for shared interests, livability, etc., and 9 Star Ki for general dynamics. I would also look at compatibility from the Vedic perspective, plus I know about another system of energetic profiles. I don't mean to sound totally nuts but in my younger days I had so many short, difficult relationships including my marriage and at 78 this is my last chance for something with depth and longevity with a man. To be clear, I look for green lights from systems outside myself like astrology to guide me in taking the first few steps in a relationship, I do not use these systems to determine daily life.

I view the man/woman relationship as some sort of combined resting place and grinding stone--a situation with enough comfortability to balance and offset the kind of intense honing that's natural when 2 people connect their lives attempting to become truly themselves, to become truly joined to each other, to become one with the universe. A little more laughter and fun would be a good thing too. My idealistic and romantic dream is still for true love and affection and a kind of joined-at-the-hip life where a man and myself live in tandem, work and play mostly together. That said, kindness and companionship just might be enough. That said, simply having a "boyfriend" to visit and who would visit me just might be enough. I’d like a life that's as simple, natural, self-sufficient, and sustainable as is possible. My soulmate may still be out there.

Cycling, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, and sailing are my favorite outdoor activities. No, I do not own a boat. My regular bike ride is 26 miles, and my last hike was about 7 miles.

I began dancing about two years ago. I am primarily studying Salsa and Rueda de Casino, which is similar to square dancing but performed in a circle, where partners constantly change based on Spanish calls. It's a blast!

I am responsible, respectful, kind, compassionate, loyal, giving, honest, monogamous, affectionate, and passionate.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist who is kind, caring, and effective. This is a calling, not a job. It is an honor and a privilege to do this sacred work.

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you'll take the time to say hi. Like you I'm a veggie minded personal. In fact, I've been vegan since around college. 23-24 years old. So the years of being vegan are growing so that it is an old habit. No oil now, and no refined carbs. Love cooking my own stuff also. Doing it for the love of all three major areas: animals, health, environment. I hope we share a passion for living life to the fullest while conserving resources (minimalism). While I do love tech toys, computers, and new gagits, I'm not one to just buy something shinny or toss out something that works for a new model. In relationships I'm thoughtful, communicative and playful. My career is great, but see myself going into something else later in life just to make it interesting. The plus side of today's job is that time is flexible and I can work out of the home office a great deal. I enjoy yoga, movies, reading, deep conversations, time with friends, museums, PBS, trying new things, traveling, exploring life, mtn. biking, rock climbing, boarding and more outdoors stuff. Music - love live music. Always going to shows, solo or not I'm there. Rock, alt, punk, 80s, new wave, metal, classics. I'm not too picky if the seats are good and talent is there. I'm up on political, social and environmental concerns. I booze level is very low, I must have one sip of something ever few months. Could really live without it as I drank enough in college to cover me for life. And no drugs. That doesn't work for me. I'm a real mixture of practical and mystical. I like working with my hands on tangible projects (like building a home, garden, etc.) and I also enjoy delving into the intangibles (like dream work and contemplating why I am here on this planet, writing a novel, etc.). I’ve worked as a computer programmer, web site designer for a number of years and have expanded into photography, fine art printing and videography. I feel that creative communication is probably one of the most powerful ways of bringing about social change. I'm very active in my community, working to create a more sustainable living environment. I'm on the board of a food alliance group here in Brownsville (running a farmers market and community garden and conducting educational outreach) and I volunteered at Meals on Wheels for 16 years. I'm awestruck by the great mystery and beauty that life presents to us.

I've been a vegetarian since 1969 and just recently turned vegan although I still eat eggs. Built a small greenhouse in 2018 and enjoy the head start it provides. Recently finished a series of ponds that I've been working on for years (see photo).

Well we made it to 2021. What a ride 2020 was. Almost had to evacuate the house in September due to forest fires nearby, bad air was traumatic. Pandemic hasn't changed my lifestyle much. My group activity has slowed down some (but usually does in winter). I keep busy with various projects. Will try to finish a patio in the spring (second photo). Started the new year by canceling my satellite tv feed. Maybe I was getting too much news and too much entertainment. So far it feels good just to focus on my creativity.

OK, now we've made it to 2022. Hard to believe how polarized this country has become and how almost half of the country apparently no longer believe in democratic priinciples.
Luckily Oregon is a progressive state, but I live in Linn County which tends to be conservative. Brownsville used to be a place where people with differing politics could get along
with each other, but we're feeling the polarizaiton here as well. Crazy times indeed.

And now it's 2023. The Ukarine war rages on. Three of my grandparents were Ukrainian so it is quite painful to see such unnecessary suffering going on there.

I say that becuase Tolle once made a joke that garnered big laughs in the audience before him.

He stated with certainty that we cannot tell the Universe you want this or that of your potential partner, future, mate, for example, that they will be Vegetarian, of a certain body type or even certain kind of person.

He implied that love does not work that way; that you cannot choose who you really love, as love finds and then chooses you!

I ask you, my potential partner in this chosen Vegan lifestyle, can we prove him mistaken in this one instance?

I beleive that we can start our search in this modern age (especially if looking online) with a base or common ground of intelligence, high morality, high ethics, impenatrable compassion and still meet potential love interests within that environment.

I’ve been on a constant path of self-awareness and healing since young. Nature is deeply important to me. I love walking with my bare-foot on...through the fields and uncharted lands, jumping fearlessly into the sea, wandering through the wilderness alone or with a company, meditating in good silence in natural parks, falls or sanctuaries, sky gazing the stars of the universe, dipping myself in cold or pristine rivers, and mountaineering/hitchhiking the scale of the sacred mountain paths around the world. I like to sing and dance. Yes, singing and dancing is quite important to me as well. It always gives me my most healing and nourishing soulful experience.

I love traveling, and exploring thrilling adventures across our dear planet EARTH. I’m quite capable of opening up the door of true freedom to an unlimited cultural experience which will define the human spirit, values and the unity of our human race!

I like being creative. I love music and movies of all types and genres, so long the message is there for life improvements. I think these two entertainment elements represent the bigger side of me. I can be...a bit of an old fashioned type, but never a let down by the current standards of lifestyle.
