Describing myself is always a challenge so I'm going to cheat and tell you how other people describe me: bubbly, energetic, enthusiastic, curious, smart, calm, easy going, funloving, talkative, creative, positive, accepting, loving...I guess that's enough.

I got interested in vegetarianism because I don't like the idea of killing animals so that I can eat them. I grew up in a rural neighborhood and I have known lots of cows, some chickens and a few pigs as well as a lamb. I don't like the idea of hurting any of them for me to eat. Over the years I have never been a big meat eater but in the last few years thoughts of how animals are treated have lead me to strive for a meatless existence.

Another thing to know about me is that I really love dogs and although my dog passed away about a year ago, I miss having all that loving energy in my life so another dog is most likely coming to live with me evenutally.

I enjoy getting regular exercise and want to start jogging (I used to jog years ago). I also like reading-thrillers & mysteries are my favorite but I'll read anything. I like to draw and knit. Sometimes I write short stories. And I really like to cook-old favorites and new recipes. Baking is probably my favorite cooking task. And with the cooking comes eating. I really like to try new restaurants. I enjoy going to the movies, concerts, plays and the beautiful parks that are all over the city.

The older I get the more I have come to realize that who I am is difficult to put into words. I am the type of person who has to be able to laugh at myself at least once a day in order to feel like I accomplished something. Of course this is even more necessary because I am in school right now and required to waste my time with some classes I am not passionate about. I was studying archaeology, but have moved into a more humanist study of sociology/anthropology, where hopefully I can get a internship this year with a public resource/relations company/government.

So what am I passionate about? I love eating healthy because it makes me feel overflowing with energy. I also am a runner and a biker. I enjoy myself whereever I go, but nature has the best energy and scenery. I like getting lost in deep conversations with people who aren't afraid to speak their mind/heart! I have travelling on my heart and feel that spontaneous choices are the best.

I love holding an attitude of gratitude about me, as this brings all the color to life as well as the smiles. I strive to remain unbiased, in other words I don't pick a side of an arguement in order to feel belonging to a team of sorts. I am not afraid to say why both sides of an arguement are both immature and selfish, if they are. I try my best not to push my ideas onto others, I am not a evangelist or religious crusader. Of course I make important decisions, like how to be resourceful on a budget...acquiring food of nutrtional value...not being a consumer whore...not giving my power away to sports, polyticks, and religions of many flavors

I have learned not to overcomlicate things, living with simple mottos always works better. I know that the sooner we accept our slavery, the more free we become. Last but not least, desperation clouds the power of discernment.

On a side note, I enjoy mornings 1000% more than nights for some reason...most productive at talking, reading, writing, working out, at that time.

I would love to go back to the country some day. I enjoy making art when I have time. Stained glass and photography are my two areas of interest at the moment. I am active in my church. I would consider myself a very liberal Lutheran. The word christian turns me off a bit. I like to think that I am more than just that. I love many Buddhist teachings as well. I put my energy into working on social justice issues, and also play in the handbell choir. I enjoy reading, going out to movies, the art museum...I would love to travel more. Hello. I am a singer, song writer, and I ocassionally write poems and write in Spanish and English. I am writing a book called From MS to Healed: How Faith in God, Obedience, and Proper Nutrition Cured the "incurable disease" called Multiple Sclerosis. I am a born again believer in the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and, Holy Spirit and desire the same in a partner. I speak Spanish #although not perfectly# but fluently. It was my major in undergradraduate college. I am pursuing my Master's degree in Health Education and will pursue my PHD in Naturopathic Medicine. I am an 85-95% raw foodist. I'm vegan accept that I eat fish 2xs/month #so I guess I'm a pescatarian# but eventually I will abstain from eating any meat at all. My diet is also gluten and dairy free.
