I've been a vegetarian for over 10 years. I tried being vegan for awhile and don't think it's for me; however, I try to incorporate raw meals every once in awhile because I feel it adds years to my life.  I try to grow all of my own staple herbs, fruits, and veggies and have always been the creative type with a key interest in writing and most recently sewing.  I'm not really that great at it yet, I've mostly worked on dresses, curtains, and halloween costumes for friends and family thus far.  California has been my life-long home, with the exception of a 6-month hiatus in France.  I can't decide whether I like Nor-Cal or So-Cal better; however, it was awesome not having to pay out-of-state tuition so I'll never complain about a necessary succession.  I like comfortable silences, cooking experimental cuisine, early morning runs, and getting to know new people.

I enjoy a plant sourced diet. Most of my diet consists of fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. Many of the vegetables I consume, I grow in my garden. I also frequent farmers markets and wholesale produce markets.  I enjoy food preparation and use raw ingredients to prepare my meals from scratch.  I blend, juice and eat mostly whole foods.  Most of the food I consume is organic. I consume primarily a raw vegan diet.   I originally made the switch to a plant-based diet for health reasons, although also agree with the compassion aspects and have even have kept pet ducks.  I wish more people would keep ducks to see what amazing and intelligent creatures they are.  That being said, im not a "vegan activist" who will picket, but do my part to share the benefits about eating a predominantly plant based diet with the people I talk to.

I shop at farmers markets whenever I can to support local agriculture, and get a higher quality food. I grow  90%-95% of my own vegetables year-round in my front yard garden in a tract-home. I strive to leave a light foot print on the planet...  I like LED lights and I drive a bio-fueled car that is powered by vegetable oil. Im educated, and have a college degree and a good career that focuses on helping people.

Hi there.  Ok here is my Veggie Date bio.  I hope it comes off ok. :)

I was raised in New York City and have been in California for 22 years.  Its hard for me to describe myself because I have so many interests, pursuits, quirks, nuances, moods, etc.  Most of my "carreer" pursuits tend to be academic-ish or metaphysical.  I was raised by intellectual/hippy/actors. :)

Right now I run 2 little businesses.  One is legal research for people in foreclosure and the other is audio engineering such as CD mastertng, location recording, mixing, etc.  My newest passion is local economics and sustainability and I'm working to make a business to teach these principles to people, businesses and local governments. 

I dont make a whole lot of money, but I love what I do.  One of my challenges in life has been to find ways make my unique talents pay.!  :) 

I would say I have a balanced personality.  I am calm and patient most of the time, but also very passionate about my goals and interests. I have been working on myself for many years have an introspective bent. 

I am not so interested in what is popular, I am interested in what is substantive and in things that are related to human progress and evolution.  I take responsibility for not only myself but the entire world. I'm a great communicator and always make sure everything is on the table (ps, thats really impiortant to me that my friends be able to communite well too)

I take care of my body and always have some basic goals for fitness and health.  Obviously I dont eat meat. :)

Hey there. Since I tend to attract the carnivorous type in real life, I thought it might be nice to date someone I could really share meals with, rather than "you eat the meat I'll eat the veggies" kind of situations.
