Stoney Creek, ontario vegetarians, vegans and raw foodist events and singles dating

Hi, I've been a vegetarian for more than 33 years. I've been a raw food vegetarian off and on, but not right now. I find it difficult during Canadian winters, especially with the demands of work and no real social support network. I am married to a non-vegetarian. I am simply looking for like minded friends at this point. I have not yet become a member of veggie date, but probably will.

I love people, especially children, animals, nature, science, good food, herbology, yoga, tai chi, Qiqong, & meditation. I am a bit of an activist and would like to become more of one. I deeply care about the environment and can't stand to see people destroying it. I think the government is basically run by criminals of low conscience and consciousness. I look forward to a better world after 2012 & some good friends to share it with.

I am an accomplished musician and an elementary school teacher. I'm passionate about my work, but am frustrated over the current system of education and the restrictions put on good teachers like me who can really help.

I am very healthy, and lead an active lifestyle, though I have not travelled much. I look forward to retirement, not to rest & die, but to really live and enjoy more freedom.
