How many guys could take a pile of lumber, build you a home, put your car in the garage & fix the brakes, go in the kitchen & make supper, then build a fire in the fireplace, grab his acoustic guitar & entertain you, then sit on the sofa & talk about something besides sports? To which you might respond; I already have a house, my car is new, I'd rather go out to eat, I don't have a fireplace, I prefer hard rock roll, I do have a sofa so you got me there, but I happen to like talking sports! Oh well, can't win em all!
What do you want the rest of your life to look like? Can you distinguish between knowing something about yourself vs. noticing something about yourself? That's a big one. Can you explain this riddle? I love you & I know it. What I want you to know is, that you know, that I know, I love you. This isn't dress rehearsal, its your life. Too much comfort & predictability makes for complacency & that kills the human spirit. We are first, spiritual beings, then human beings then gender.
I started out life as a cowboy. If I couldn't ride it, rope it, smoke it, shoot it or eat it with my pancakes I had no use for it! In 1974, as a cowboy I made $15 a day plus beans, twice a day. Blazing Saddles was spot on! We were up before daylight & didnt get back till after dark. After awhile, I couldn't even remember what color my pickup truck was anymore! I did learn tho, just as in life, its easier to ride the horse in the direction its going! I worked my way to be a carpenter. I have been pretty much a nomad and unbeknownst to me, a soul seeker.
My mind has not been hijacked by sports. I don't need a tattoo or earring to show you I'm unique. I don't have to ride a Harley with no muffler to tell you what a tuff guy I am. I don't need to pose in front of an animal I just shot with my $4000 sniper rifle from 1000 yards out to prove capability, nor did/do I have to wear a patch on my sleeve (military) to be honorable. These are just myths of life that men subscribe to & some women fall for.
Its never about the other person when interacting if there's an issue or a problem. We are context creators. Whether its your boss or the one you love, if you don't put the cap on the toothpaste & that bugs me, that's my problem, you are just being you. There is always something about everybody. Its always good when its good. The trick is have it be OK when its not. The role the other person takes by design is simply to allow the other person to be the way they are. Its not tolerating nor compromising. The sun rises in the east & that's fine with you. This represents good times for you & your pardner. Then it starts to bug you but you tolerate it. Then you tell the sun, I know more than you so rise in the west. It rises in the east. Then you compromise, rise then in the north. It rises in the east. So too w/ people. Things must first be the way they are before they can be different. As you allow the sun, allow your pardner. If you make someone wrong for being wrong, you're no better @ being you than they are @ being them. Context wise its the same. Its in the ALLOWING that the relationship lives. Easier said than done. Done to the degree you know yourself. Done to the degree you are confident in yourself.
I have the confidence in myself to tell you confidently, that in some areas of life I have no confidence! HAH! Thats a mouthful.
As the ocean needs the shore to define it, so too we need each other to define our lives. Think I'm wrong? Go live 5 months on an island in Alaska by YOURSELF. I did as a caretaker. You have to be tuff in the head to do that. Most wouldn't last 2 weeks. You ll see, you need people. There's a difference tho between need and needy. You can live W/O anyone. My definition of lonely is: the inability or unavailability to have an avenue for self expression. Its true, you can write a song to express yourself, but if there's no one to sing it to, (the avenue) it falls to the ground. On an island in Alaska by yourself, your avenue is but a short path.
I was once in the house of an international star delivering furniture. I asked him for a drink of water as my throat was sore. He invited me into his kitchen where his wife was making supper. We talked a bit. I think he was impressed with the fact I saw him only as a guy who could give me a drink of water & not his stardom. I was impressed by his humanness. I'm not typically impressed by the things that typically impress.
What I have had in my life is freedom, I don't want to lose that. I don't want my life to be just someone whose life is all about making payments. I am not lazy, I just don't want to work 51 weeks a year so I can spend my one week off cleaning the gutters and painting the house!
There are some who'll say they will relocate. I see so many, month after month still looking. Maybe you have to expand your vison. I know I'm asking alot. Its a big barrier trying to establish a union when two people are far away. But they did it in the olden days, like when the west was won. Letters that took a month to recieve. Are we all now so spoiled with expectations of having everything in our lives so "high speed?" 15 minutes at a coffee shop isn't going to tell you if someone is a good mate for you.
Spirituality: All I really know, really, is, its better to be a good person than the opposite. I believe in one God power, yet Ive experienced evil. I have had things happen to me that I dub miracles. Thank you! How it works, havent a clue.

I am a very laid back, compassionate vegan. I love all animals and I live a compassionate lifestyle. I'm a happy, optimistic caring person. I feel like I've got many good qualities that would make and a good match for a genuinely good guy who has the same qualities. I don't live off the grid and I don't want to, I like technology too much, but info live a fairly green lifestyle too. I'm a vegan because I love animals first and foremost, they're very import to me so info all I can to help them.
Im looking for a genuinely good guy who is also vegan, but NO facial hair, I don't think facial hair or long hair is attractive at all. I am attracted to smart, caring, compassionate, sweet, funny, unselfish respectful guys who are true to their hearts, love all animals and are just all around a great guy.
