My name is John, and i am looking for someone who shares a similar outlook on life as i do.
I have been a vegan for 5 years now, vegetarian for some time before that, and i will never be going back. I am a huge fan of animals of all types, and studied biology and environmental science in school, with emphasis on field biology electives.
I enjoy mostly outdoor activities, running, walking, birding, hiking, camping, with an emphasis on trying to do more water sports in the near future. I love to do mud and obstacle course runs, and trail runs, not a huge fan of running on pavement, but i do that too. I love to stargaze at night, even though now i live on a major road.
As for indoor activities, pretty much any sport, i will play it, but my favorite is hockey. I play on two teams and fill in on another couple. I also like to read, relax with a nice cup of tea, and just started getting into yoga. I am not a big gym nut, i prefer to get my exercize in sans machines.
as for my personality, i am a pretty laid back, drama free guy who likes to have a nerdy, witty sense of humor. I also feel that i am pretty selfless, and prefer others be happy before i worry about myself. I love to cook, especially lebanese cuisine as i grew up learning how to cook from my lebanese grandmother.

I'm working on my masters in humane education - environmental protection, animal welfare, human rights/social justice. It's really an amazing program! Being satisfied with my work has always been more important to me than the amount of money I'm making, but my friends and fam will always be my #1 priority.
