My world currently revolves around animal advocacy, it is both a personal interest and my profession. I am vegan for ethical reasons though the health benefits are a great plus. I moved to the D.C. area from NYC and I'm finding that the veggie community here seems sparse. I work from home and rescue/rehabilitate dogs coming from shelters along the eastern part of the U.S. That said, meeting someone "naturally" is a challenge as I am home caring for animals most of the time. I do like to attend vegan events, explore the beach, hike the local parks, and winerys. I love deep films, heavy reads, and anything artistic/creative. I write poetry daily and enjoy the proccess of creating something unique. I am just hoping to meet someone likeminded- animal lover and vegan.
