Indian Rocks Beach, florida vegetarians, vegans and raw foodist events and singles dating

I have been a vegetarian my whole life, but I am not an activist.  My boys (8 and 9) eat meat and that is their choice and I don't have a problem with it.  It is weird that I am a vegetarian, because I am originally from Arkansas.  I never liked meat, even as an infant, but was forced to eat it until 7.

I am socially and fiscally conservative, which puts me at odds with most of the ads that I have seen on any veg site.

I do not have pets and have no interest in having any.  I really don't get why everyone has to have a pet.  Their houses smell bad, and one can't do anything without taking a pet into consideration (whether it is dinner after work or a weekend camping trip).  I do have a problem with people consistently crating their pets, it is wrong and not an acceptable training tool.

I have been a software developer for over 19 years and currently work for Dell as a consultant.  In the past I have worked for IBM, The Nielsen Company (tv ratings), Aegon Insurance among others.  I love what I do for a career!

My hobbies include:  sailing, scuba, camping, canoeing/kayaking and guitar.  I am open to other hobbies that allows interaction with the person I am with.  I have sailed my boat to the Florida Keys on multiple occasions and the Bahamas for a three month trip before.

My kids are very important to me.  I am not a passive parent, as I love to interact with my kids.  Watching them do something is fun, but participating is better.  We play sports, go camping, Busch Gardens, hanging at the beach, ...
