I am from Portland, Oregon. I bought a second home here in December 2010. My most expensive impulse buy ever, but I am so happy I did it at the time. I had a job selling an expensive law enforcement product the last couple years which sent me all over the country meeting with police agencies. Sold a few, but budgets were tight but it was fun to meet brother and sister officers as I am a retired police Captain, former Homicide detective. The program ended at the end of 2011, so I rented my home in Portland to a nice family and moved down here full time with my boy pug, named Junior.

Over the past year and a half I was vegan or veggie the majority of the time. Sometimes it was tough in some cities. But now that I am down here it is becoming easier. I found this site while I was searching for Veggie/Vegan classes so I can learn to make good food at home.

I also adopted( Arizona Pug Rescue and Adoption ) a stray girl pug who is delightful but had lived an awful life... if I meet you I have quite the story of her near death experience.

Animal rights issues are very important to me. And recently I have become more involved in contacting our state elected officials on farm animal rights issues and I recently was accepted as an official volunteer with the Humane Society of the United States. I do like to go to sporting events that do not involve animals such as rodeos.

But I do love my ice skating coyotes, our baseball playing D'Backs and the football playing Cardinals. I am a darn nice guy who is looking for someone that could help me with the serious issues, the fun issues like going on dates and learning about fun places around the valley and see where that leads.
