I like a lot to be in the garden (try to grow my own food, enjoy growing flowers and have a nice place for herbs) and to work with wood.
I like to keep my living simple, eco-friendly but comfortable (i need heating in winter!).
I'm learning to love myself and the world and my kids are being great teachers on the subject. I like to play, climb trees, dance while i cook, have fun in general, but also to have some quite time just being lazy and feeling the moment.

What do you want out of life? I find adventure happening all around me and in everything I do. Adventure is there, whether it is hiking, swimming, kayaking, exploring, traveling, running or even a physical training regiment such as CrossFit. It can also be found in the more mundane things of life too like learning, tutoring, volunteering, or giving of your talents for a charity event. Sometimes adventure can be an uneasy thing to achieve. While it is rarely difficult to get adventure, the uneasy thing is that sometimes work, school, situations, etc. can try to block it. My opinion is that these things can be incorporated into the adventure of life and so instead of seeing them as stumbling blocks I see them as stepping stones to the gateway of adventure. I am grateful that life is so awesome, interesting and that it constantly causes me to be intrigued into things bigger than myself. Do you want to journey with me and share in life's adventures? Hello there. :) I'm not your stereotypical bloke and I'm more than ok with that. I believe in equality and compromise, conversation and cooperation, respect and empathy. I've spent quite a bit of time over the years learning more about myself and admire self-awareness in others. I grew up in the States with a mix of cultural influences around me, which may well have helped me to develop into the open-minded person I am today. I laugh, smile, and joke a lot. :) I also tend to walk most places anymore (including a 5 mile hike to and from work each day) and find that it's a great space in which to decompress. I love music, but also appreciate quiet. I enjoy cosy pubs and the beer they serve. I cook and entertain and find both thoroughly satisfying. Autumn is my favourite season. Despite having lived in all kinds of places, Brighton really feels like home now because, among other things, it's a place where I can be myself and be accepted for it.

I am a green libertarian, or sometimes I say “spiritual anarchist,” but not an activist; a practical idealist and artist. In my down-time, I like to read (study) and watch sci-fi movies. I want to explore life extension/immortality through diet, life energy and relationship. I think/feel real love is a choice rather than a "fall" with no control [as in “falling in love”]. I would like profound intimacy with a partner where we have a lot in common and both open our hearts and minds to each other. I am slightly alternative and have lived off-the-grid on solar power since 1990. I like to dance, have fun, feel good and aim for bliss and happiness every day. It would be nice to find friends who can see the vision of an integrated place that also includes, the EFGP, the Immortality cult :) solar neighborhood, socializing with purpose, The Psycho Social Frontier and more. I tend to be a futurist, so I do things in the NOW to make things easier later. I think of myself as a man on a mission who is a grain of sand on the beach of the evolutionary transformation.
